If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to capture and share photos of your day-to-day life. But if you want to copy and paste a picture from your Instagram story into a text message or email, there are a few steps you can take to make the process easier.

  1. Open Instagram and sign in.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (the one that looks like an arrow). This will open a menu with several options, including “Pictures,” “Story,” and “Settings.”
  3. In the “Pictures” section, click on the picture you want to copy and paste into a text message or email.
  4. Paste the text into the space provided by Instagram and hit send.
