Xbox One is a gaming console that comes with an Ethernet cable. To connect Xbox One to Ethernet cable, first make sure that your computer is connected to the network and Xbox One. If you have an older computer, it may not be able to connect to the network. If you have a new computer, make sure that your computer has an Ethernet port and Xbox One. Once your computer is connected to the network and Xbox One, follow these steps to connect Xbox One to Ethernet cable:
- Open the properties of your Xbox one and click on the Connect button.
- Type in “Ethernet” into the search bar on your computer and hit enter.
- Once you have entered “Ethernet” into the properties of your Xbox one, click on the Connect button again.
- You will now see a list of devices on your network that are compatible with Xbox One including computers, routers, TVs, etcetera. Select one of these devices from this list and click on the Add button next to it.
- You will now see a dialog box where you can choose which type of Ethernet connection you want for yourXbox one including wired or wireless connections as well as whether or not you want DHCP enabled for this device on your network (if enabled). Click on OK in this dialog box and then click on Finish to add this device to your network and start playing games!
