If you’re like most people, you probably have a lot of preferences in Illustrator. You might prefer to have all your colors at the same level, or you might prefer to have a specific type of font. But there’s no need to be afraid to clear your preferences if you want to change something. To clear your preferences, open Illustrator and click on the Preferences button. This will open a dialog box where you can select which tools and features will be available when you start Illustrator. If you don’t want any of these features available, then select No from the drop-down list. Now that your preferences are set, click on the OK button to close the Preferences dialog box. When you start Illustrator, it will now use the settings that were set in the previous dialog box.
