If you have terra cotta tiles in your home, it’s time to give them a good cleaning. Terra cotta is a porous material, so dirt and dust will accumulate over time. Here are four easy steps to cleaning your terra cotta tiles:

  1. Wet the tile with water and add a little dish soap. Swish the tile around and then rinse it off.
  2. If the tile is very dirty, scrub it with a stiff brush. Make sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.
  3. Pour a pot of boiling water onto the tile and let it sit for two minutes. Use a wet cloth to clean off the surface of the tile.
  4. Pour white vinegar onto the wet cloth and wipe down the entire surface of the tile. Let it dry completely before using again ..
