If you have terra cotta tiles in your home, it’s time to give them a good cleaning. Terra cotta is a porous material, so dirt and dust will accumulate over time. Here are four easy steps to cleaning your terra cotta tiles:
- Wet the tile with water and add a little dish soap. Swish the tile around and then rinse it off.
- If the tile is very dirty, scrub it with a stiff brush. Make sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.
- Pour a pot of boiling water onto the tile and let it sit for two minutes. Use a wet cloth to clean off the surface of the tile.
- Pour white vinegar onto the wet cloth and wipe down the entire surface of the tile. Let it dry completely before using again ..
