If you’re like most people, you probably have a few herbs growing in your garden or sitting in a jar on your kitchen counter. Herbs are great for adding flavor to food and can be used in many different ways, but they can also be difficult to clean. Here are four easy steps to cleaning herbs:

  1. Fill a pot with water and add the herbs. Bring the water to a boil and then turn off the heat. Let the herbs sit in the hot water for about 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the water and use a colander or strainer to rinse the herbs well. Make sure to get all of the dirt and debris off of them.
  3. Place the herbs in a bowl or container and pour enough cold water over them to cover them completely. Swish around the herbs with your hands until they are completely wetted down.
  4. Use a towel or paper towel to blot away any excess moisture from the herbs, then place them in an airtight container or baggie for storage. ..
