- Remove the top of the water bottle.
- Pour a pot of hot water onto the stove and turn it on to medium heat.
- Place the copper water bottle on top of the pot of hot water, making sure that it is fully submerged.
- Turn off the stove and wait until the copper water bottle has been completely submerged in the hot water.
- Hold onto one end of the copper water bottle and use your other hand to pull it out from under the water.
- Carefully remove all of the liquid from the copper water bottle, being sure not to damage it in any way.
- Place the copper water bottle back on its original surface and let it cool for a few minutes before using it again
