If you’re like most painters, you probably have an oil paint palette that’s been collecting dust. Here’s how to clean it:
- Fill a large bowl with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Swish the palette around in the water until the paint is loosened.
- Use a soft cloth or a paper towel to wipe off the paint surface. Make sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.
- Pour a small amount of white vinegar onto a clean cloth or paper towel and wring it out so that it’s wet but not dripping. Rub the vinegar onto the palette, using circular motions until all of the paint is removed.
