If your bra is sticky, you may need to clean it. Here are four ways to do it:

  1. Fill a bowl with warm water and add a teaspoon of dish soap. Soak the bra in the water for a few minutes, then rinse it off.
  2. Pour a pot of boiling water onto the floor and place the bra in it for about 30 seconds. Remove it and let it cool before washing with soap and water.
  3. Rubbing alcohol can be used to clean sticky bras, but be careful not to get it on your skin or in your eyes. Pour about one-third of an ounce (10 ml) of rubbing alcohol into a small bowl or cup, add enough cold water to make a slurry, and stir until the mixture is smooth. Dip the dirty bra into the solution, let it soak for several minutes, then rinse off with cold water.
  4. Use oven cleaner on stubborn stains on bras that cannot be cleaned with other methods: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and spray the cleaner onto the stain until it disappears (or until all of the liquid has been used).
