There are a few things you can do to clean a gas can if it’s been used recently.
- Pour a pot of boiling water onto the can and let it cool for a few minutes so the water doesn’t damage the plastic.
- Use a plunger to push all of the liquid out of the can and then use a vacuum cleaner to suck all of the liquid up into the can.
- Use an oven cleaner on a small area at a time, making sure not to get any water on the oven door or inside the oven.
