PlayStation 4 owners can change parental control IDs on their console online. This is a great way to keep your children safe and protected from harmful content. To do this, you will need to create a new parental control ID. To create a new parental control ID, go to the PlayStation 4 Online Store and sign in with your account information. Once you have logged in, click on the “Settings” tab and then click on the “Parental Control” icon. Now, under the “Parental Control” tab, you will need to provide your name and email address. You can also provide a description of what type of parental control ID you would like to create. Once you have provided these details, click on the “Create” button. Once you have created your new parental control ID, it will be added to your account and available for use. You can use this parental control ID anytime you want to restrict access to specific content or games for your children.
> Use an Online ID that is not blocked/banned.
The current parental controls ID you are using will show under “Online ID,” and any other IDs you have signed up for will show under “Alternative Online IDs”. Their online safety restrictions will also be shown next to their respective IDs. If there are multiple accounts, you can switch between them by selecting “Switch User”
Once a new online id is created, it cannot be changed back however we suggest choosing your profile name wisely because once chosen this cannot be changed. Also after you create a new profile, you can transfer game data from your ps3 to your ps4 by visiting the settings and pressing on the system storage.
