If you’re unhappy with your credit report, there are a few things you can do to cancel your account. First, call your credit bureau and ask to have your report cancelled. This will stop any new credit from being added to your file and will also remove any negative marks from your record. If you’re not comfortable cancelling your report yourself, you can speak with a credit counseling or financial advisor who can help you do this for you. If all of the above doesn’t work for you or if you just want to keep your credit score clean, there are other ways to improve it as well. You can try paying off all of your debts and/or getting a good credit score through a free credit monitoring service like Credit Karma or Experian.
