Instagram is a great platform for sharing photos and videos with friends and family, but it can also be a source of anxiety and distress for some users. If you’re one of those people, you may want to add a trigger warning to your account. Here’s how to do it. To add a trigger warning on Instagram, first open the app and sign in. Then go to your profile page and click on the gear icon in the top right corner. From here, you can select “Settings” and then “Safety.” Under “Safety,” you will see two options: “Triggers” and “Alerts.” Click on “Triggers” to find the list of triggers that are currently enabled on your account. You can add new triggers by clicking on the plus sign next to a category (like violence or sexual content) or by selecting from a list of existing triggers that have been flagged by other users as being potentially harmful. Once you have added a trigger, you will need to decide what type of alert should be sent when that trigger is encountered. You have three options: an automatic notification, an email notification, or a message notification (which will send you an alert in the app even if you are not currently using it). To choose which type of notification should be sent, click on the option that best suits your needs. Finally, you will need to decide who should receive notifications about your triggers. By default, all members of your account will receive notifications about new triggers that are added or changed on behalf of the account owner; however, you can choose to send notifications only to specific followers (or even just yourself) by clicking on the “Only me” button next to each follower name in the list under “Alerts recipients." ..
