A layer mask is created by selecting the object you want to masked and then pressing the command key (or right-click and select “Create Mask”). To add a layer mask to an image, follow these steps:
- Select the object you want to masked.
- Choose “Edit > Mask” from the menu bar and then click on the desired area of the image.
- The mask will be created and will be in blue or black color depending on whether it is a solid or transparent object.
