It’s hard to say, because Facebook doesn’t release data on how many accounts it deletes. But according to a recent study by the social media company, it seems that a lot of people are deleting their Facebook accounts. In the first three months of 2018, Facebook reported that it had deleted 1.2 billion pieces of content - including 1.1 billion posts and 2.5 billion photos - due to violations of its terms of service or for other reasons. This is up from 1.1 billion posts and 2.4 billion photos in the first three months of 2017, according to figures from Facebook itself."
