There’s a new app that’s designed to help you hide your OkCupid profile. It’s called “Hide My Profile.” The app is available for free on the App Store and Google Play. It lets you hide your profile from people who you’re interested in, as well as from people who are looking for you. “Hide My Profile is the perfect way to keep your OkCupid Profile private and confidential,” said OkCupid spokesperson Sarah Ladd. “We appreciate the effort Hide My Profile makes to protect our users’ privacy.” If you’re using Hide My Profile, be sure to follow these tips:
- Make sure your profile picture is hidden on your profile page - Add a disclaimer at the bottom of your profile page that says “This application is not endorsed by OkCupid” - Use a pseudonym if you want to keep things more private
